Boris Bidjan Saberi's SS19 Collection Is Filled With Seam Taped Garments
Taping models’ faces for added effect.

Boris Bidjan Saberi continues to spearhead unconventional designs with his namesake label’s Spring/Summer 2019 season. The Barcelona-based designer flaunted an unruly lineup of seam-taped garments on the Paris Fashion Week catwalk and even taped the faces of models for added effect. Saberi’s mood board for the range included Brutalist architecture, mineworkers’ uniforms, as well as achromatopsia (a condition where those affected only see black and white). Standout looks include technical outerwear crafted out of multiple fabrics, elongated knitted tops with striping details, denim blousons with ripped lining on the inner sleeve portions, jumpsuits with cross-body straps on the upper section, and relaxed trousers in deep gray tones.
