There’s another movie about tech and the folly of men and this time, Netflix’s new flick centers around a crazy A.I. controlling a smart house. Tau, from director Federico D’Alessandro, sees It Follows star Maika Monroe as a grifter who gets mixed up with the psychotic Alex (Ed Skrein), who plans to trap her inside his death trap of a house.

The home is observed by the A.I. Alex built named Tau, voiced by Gary Oldman, who strives to tests the grifter’s endurance for fear and is ready to punish her if she doesn’t follow the rules of his experiments. Check out the trailer above, then see it in full when it debuts on the streaming service on June 29.
