A Backstage Look at Rick Owens's Constructivist SS19 Show

Having debuted his Spring/Summer 2019 collection in a smoke-filled courtyard at the Palais de Tokyo earlier today, here’s an exclusive look backstage at Rick Owens‘s show.
The range features the designer’s trademark asymmetrical cuts and stark color palette, with a few denim pieces thrown in for good measure. Models donning tasseled face masks, satin tearaway pants and hollow Rubik’s cube-inspired jewelry sported tent-like structures over their torsos. On the footwear front, Rick’s ongoing partnership with Birkenstock made a prominent cameo, this time offered in both open-toe slides and high-top sneaker iterations.
