After mysterious 4:44 banners stared popping up on Complex, The FADER and our very own site HYPEBEAST, it left many pondering what the cryptic numbers could mean. Many JAY-Z fans even speculated the numbers — with a whole lot of calculations — meant a new album was on the way from the Roc Nation king.
Then during Game 3 of the NBA Finals a commercial starring actor Mahershala Ali was aired, opening up speculations to an upcoming film being released. However, finally just last week, JAY-Z announced his brand new album, 4:44. Available only to Sprint customers and TIDAL members, the album is set to drop on June 30. In anticipation of this project, a new commercial has just dropped titled “Kill JAY-Z.” Watch the ad above.
