A First Look at the Nike Flyknit Trainer Retro in Its Most Famous Colorway
A cult favorite silhouette returns.
Not long ago, rumors started swirling that Nike will bring back the beloved Flyknit Trainer silhouette in a slew of colorways for the 2017 summer season. This time around, an Instagram user by the name of @dirtymoney823 has leaked images of what looks to be the revamped low-top in the original White/Black color scheme alongside a “Sunset Tint” iteration. The Swoosh is ostensibly set to launch both aforementioned colorways and “Cirrus Blue” and “Pale Grey” renditions starting this July.
The Nike Flyknit Trainer first debuted in 2012 in the monochromatic black and white variety that was seen multiple times on Kanye West. While no official announcement has been made by Nike, it’s important to note that Kevin Durant was spotted wearing the light peach retro colorway and the athletic label has even blessed Draymond Green with an exclusive “Championship” version of the coveted shoe for winning the NBA finals.
Nonetheless, take a look at the photos above and stay tuned for more details.
