Filling Pieces Gets Bold With Chunky-Silhouetted Sneakers for 2018 Spring/Summer
The Amsterdam-based footwear company flips the script.

Filling Pieces recently previewed its forthcoming 2018 spring/summer collection at its Paris showroom held at the Galerie Perrotin. The space gave off a retro-futuristic vibe that matched the season’s line complete with a neon pink sculpted supercar on display. As for the footwear offerings, FP joins the chunky sneaker club with its new bulky, yet stylish offerings. There are wider midsoles, distinct cutouts and striking colors — orange, black, pink, pastel greens and light blues are in the mix to name a few. Additionally, the Amsterdam label still has its classic signature styles coming out for next season.
On display also to accompany the art at the space were some vintage hoodies, tees, shorts and jackets. All, including the merchandise from its memorabilia room, were meant to be giveaways to buyers previewing the collection.
