McQueen Unveils Its Spring/Summer 2027 Collection at London Fashion Week

McQueen recently arrived at London Fashion Week to unveil its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, designed under the direction of creative director Seán McGirr.
“This collection celebrates London’s ever-evolving, exhilarating, and otherworldly allure. McQueen was born in London, and the city’s uncompromising attitude and subversive spirit are embedded at the heart of the house,” Seán McGirr shared.
Sacred ecstasy: the collection finds a resonance between the divine and subculture. The palette of religious iconography intertwines with the washed neon hues of underground rave culture. Delicate smoky tulle is adorned with acid-toned floral prints on reflective glass organza.
Glossy lacquered satin and leather are accented with harness details. Master jeweler Shaun Leane creates body adornments in precious metals.
Precise construction subverts Savile Row tradition—a practice rooted in the house’s foundations—moving between formalwear and counterculture. Sculptural “angel-wing” cuts contrast with tall, rigorous tailoring. Three men’s made-to-measure silhouettes, created in collaboration with Huntsman, are rendered in wool fabrics rich in British tradition and heritage.
Eveningwear is elevated by the exceptional craftsmanship of the atelier. Embroidery is intricate yet primal. Night-dark jacquard motifs wash across sheer organza.
