Vans and Harris Tweed Unite Punk Attitude With Skate Culture in a New Collection

Vans has unveiled a collaborative collection with Harris Tweed, the maker of traditional Scottish tweed fabric.

The collection brings together Scottish craftsmanship and Vans’ Off The Wall spirit. Drawing on London punk and Southern California skate culture, it pairs traditional materials with iconic silhouettes.

The four-piece lineup includes the Premium Old Skool 36, Premium Classic Slip-On 98, Premium Loafer 53, and Vans x Harris Tweed® Strapback. The shoes feature Harris Tweed uppers and vintage-inspired distressed sidewalls adorned with DIY-style embellishments, including jewels, spikes, metal rings, and peace-sign charms. Leopard-print insoles add another distinctive touch.

The cap is made with Harris Tweed fabric and finished with tartan details and metal hardware, while its lining features a leopard print.

The Vans x Harris Tweed collaboration launches Thursday, September 24, via the Vans official online store, Vans Store locations, and select authorized retailers. Prices are ¥20,350 including tax for the Premium Old Skool 36, ¥18,700 including tax for the Premium Classic Slip-On 98, ¥17,600 including tax for the Premium Loafer 53, and ¥10,450 including tax for the Vans x Harris Tweed® Strapback.
