A few days ago we shared a closer look at Don C‘s upcoming Jordan Legacy 312 collaboration. Today brings official release information and two additional colorways for its debut offering. With three colorways inspired by trainers of Nike‘s past, the Chicago native’s collab adds more flair to the offering with a “Volt”-based pair and a Royal/Cement edition.

Billed as his most personal collaboration with Jordan Brand to date, Don C says of the design:

I wanted the Jordan Legacy 312 to have the sole of the Jordan 3, because to me, that shoe is the foundation of the brand,” Don explains. “The 1s and the 2s were Nikes first. The 3s were Jordans. That’s when the brand became the brand. I’ve always felt that the foundation of the brand is the 3, but it was built on the 1 first.

Don C’s Jordan Legacy 312 is expected to launch on July 14 at select Jordan Brand retailers.

Fans of the model can also take a closer look at the rest of the colorways set to debut.
