Muggs, DOOM & Freddie Gibbs Deliver a Dark Noir Animation for "Death Wish"
The clip brings the song’s story to life.
Last week, DJ Muggs, DOOM and Freddie Gibbs came together for “Death Wish” — a record off Muggs’ upcoming Assassination Day project. Now, the trio delivers the record’s fittingly-sinister visual component.
An animated effort, the black-and-white clip for “Death Wise” unfolds like a modern day noir story for fans of the grimiest hip-hop. The video was created to help breathe life into the album’s unique, cinematic narrative, which focuses on a “vigilante concept where hip-hop takes corruption head-on, figuratively killing off powerful evildoers in positions of power as the story unfolds,” read the official press release. “Guess everything is fair in love and lust and lyrics,” DOOM menacingly spits as he nears the conclusion of his verse; those words perfectly sum up the feel of today’s video.

Last week, Freddie Gibbs served up his latest studio project, Freddie.
