11 by Boris Bidjan Saberi SS19 Celebrates the Individual
The brand’s Salomon collaboration continues.

11 by Boris Bidjan Saberi Spring/Summer 2019 picks up where the progressive label left off, seamlessly fusing the brand’s avant-garde and athletic inclinations, accented with a host of thematic graphics. Dubbed “DON’T BELIEVE THE HYPE,” the collection warns of the current generation’s fading individuality and inability to decipher society’s overwhelming media crush, realized with an assortment of conceptual — yet wearable — goods.
The new range builds on recognizable silhouettes, like bomber jackets, drop-crotch shorts and work jackets, infusing the goods with rigorous craftsmanship befitting a clothing line for free thinkers. For instance, jeans feature raw hems, stitch-heavy paneling and painted dots, while a shirt and short set showcase layered white printed graphics, adding implied depth. Denim boasts a host of bespoke treatments resulting in unique washes and wear patterns, mirroring the extreme detailing that goes into select reversible garments. Branding appears on armor-like vests, bolstering visual interest alongside pouch-like pockets and dangling adjustable ties. These features accent select jackets and shirts, with tees sporting “11” logos and accompanying prints. Harmonizing with the damaged denim and reworked layers, 11 by Boris Bidjan Saberi’s popular Salomon collaboration continues, with the Bamba4 and a complementary low-top Bamba4 offering lightweight soles and breathable uppers.
