New 'Sicario: Day of the Soldado' Trailer Takes on the War on Drugs

The newest trailer for the upcoming sequel to Josh Brolin and Benicio Del Toro‘s Sicario showcases the high octane action as the war against the drug cartels continues. The trailer focuses on Matt Graver and Alejandro, unrestrained by FBI rules, sparking a feud between dual cartels by kidnapping the teenage daughter of infamous drug kingpin Carlos Reyes. But, when the covert mission is exposed and Graver orders Alejandro to murder Isabela, the killer’s cold disposition begins to fade.

The Stefano Sollima-directed Day of the Soldado hits theaters June 29.

In other film news, Joaquin Phoenix and John C. Reilly are The Sisters Brothers in a new western comedy.
