Zaytoven Says Future Will Drop 'Beast Mode 2' Later This Year

Future‘s 2015 mixtape Beast Mode is one of the most celebrated projects in the Atlanta native’s discography. Fans have been clamoring for the followup for years and it looks like they’ll get their wish soon. Zaytoven, who produced Beast Mode entirely, shared in a new interview with SSENSE that Beast Mode 2 will be Future’s next project after he drops the upcoming Superfly soundtrack.
“When I work with Future, it’s almost like a work of art,” Zaytoven said, adding that Beast Mode 2 will come “not long after” Superfly drops in June. “You listen to something like Beast Mode, and it’s almost like looking at a pretty painting.”
This summer, Director X and Future are remaking the 1972 blaxploitation film, which stars Michael Kenneth Williams, Jason Mitchell, Big Boi, Rick Ross, and actor Trevor Jackson. The soundtrack will also drop this summer with tracks like “Walk On Minks” and “No Shame.”
