Nike Football Unveils Inter Milan Home Kit for 2018/19 Season
The 20th anniversary of their partnership.
Nike has revealed the latest version of Inter Milan’s home kit for the 2018/19 season. Its the 20th anniversary of the partnership between the two entities and the kit harkens back to several key points in the club’s history. The sportswear giants looked back to the two eras in particular: the first ever Nike Inter kit of the 1998/9 season and the 2010/1 kit. The key part of the kit — the black and blue Nerazzuri stripes — have long remained the same but the original added a gold Swoosh and outline around the crest.
The 2010/1 kit used distorted vertical stripes in order to make a serpent-esque effect on the kit, which was designed to harken back to II Biscione – a local Milanese symbol. The new kit re-introduces the this effect, as well as adding the gold Swoosh and outline of the club crest. The Inter Milan home kit for 2018/19 will be available on May 17.
