Hot Ones finally wraps up its fifth season by having platinum-selling singer-songwriter John Mayer stop by and burn his mouth on some wings. Mayer covers an array of topics, including working on the now classic Chappelle’s Show sketch he appeared in, Justin Bieber‘s melodic abilities, as well as his passion for kicks and visvim.

John also defends Nickelback from their social media backlash and talks about his process when songwriting. Check out the footage above, and stay tuned for the season finale signoff, which involves dual ukuleles and a song about hot sauce.
