'Robin Hood' Teaser Trailer Starring Taron Egerton & Jamie Foxx
Hood has gone gritty.
Taron Egerton is the next actor to portray the iconic Robin Hood tale, and the upcoming adaptation of the titular character now has a trailer. The trailer showcases an updated take on the hero, with stylized action and slow-motion shots predicating the updated story.
The trailer also introduces Jamie Foxx as Little John, Robin Hood’s mentor, as well Ben Mendelsohn as the Sheriff of Nottingham. It also sets up the classic tale of the revolting Hood as he steals from the corrupt English crown and gives to the poor.
The Otto Bathurst-directed Robin Hood is due out November 21.
