fragment design x Nike Air Jordan 1 Unreleased Sample Revealed
Mismatched with the black circle bolts.
On a recent trip to Japan, Hiroshi Fujiwara was seen wearing an unreleased sample of his highly coveted fragment design x Air Jordan 1 High collaboration from 2015.
The mismatching sample reveals a rework on the right foot, where the rear quarter panel is black rather than the Royal Blue found on the released pair. However, the Swoosh on the right foot as well has been flipped for Royal Blue, matching the wings on the upper. On the left shoe, the larger, black fragment design logo is found as seen previously on the friends and family pair owned by such individuals as Kim Jones.
Hiroshi states these are unreleased samples — confirmed with production notes written on the medial of the left — and will not see a public release. Check out more pics below. In case you missed it, listen to Hiroshi Fujiwara explain the inner workings of fragment design on the inaugural episode of The Business of HYPE with Jeff Staple.
