Chance the Rapper Calls Kanye West the Greatest Artist of This Generation in New Interview
And a couple previous generations, and a couple generations to come.

Chance the Rapper and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright, actor and performer Lin-Manuel Miranda grace the cover of Complex this month. As part of the coverage, the duo sat down to talk about art, creativity and process — topics both men know plenty about. When asked about whether self-promotion is a product of self-confidence or bombast, the men bring up different examples: Miranda brings up Muhammed Ali’s self-proclaimed title of “The Greatest of All Time” as a self-fulfilling prophecy; Chance, on the other hand, mentions that Kanye West constantly champions himself in order to present himself as the type of polarizing figure who will be remembered “200 years from now, long after everyone has forgotten our names.”
High praise. Be on the lookout for Chance 3 and make sure to watch Lil’ Chano’s electrifying late night performance of his latest track, “Blessings.”
