adidas Unveils Manchester United's Away Kit for 2016/17
Marked by distinct dark blue mélange detailing.
When the Red Devils take the pitch away from Old Trafford next season, they’ll be rocking a decidedly different look than the white kits they adopted for the majority of the 2015/16 campaign. Unveiled by adidas today, Manchester United’s away look for 2016/17 will opt for blue — much like 2014/15’s third kit and something the squad hasn’t adopted as its primary away look since it sported oversized black and navy gingham checks back in 2013/14. Featuring a collegiate blue base, the kits are marked by distinct dark blue mélange detailing throughout as red accents take care of the adidas logo, striped shoulders and United crest.
Set for a May 12 launch, the shirts — which will be accompanied on the pitch by matching shorts and socks — can be pre-ordered now directly from adidas.
