Ahead of this upcoming weekend’s second-week slate of EPL action, adidas and Manchester United have unveiled the kits the Red Devils will wear on the road throughout the 2015/16 campaign. Taking cues from the club’s illustrious history and the shirts worn by the legendary Busby teams of the 1960s, the away shirt, like its home counterpart, features a classic V neck collar and comes in white with red stripes while adopting a graphic along the hem that’s taken from the squad’s 1990 shirt — famously donned by Ryan Giggs in his debut season. As for the shorts, adidas took design inspiration from the iconic Three Stripe United kits of the ’80s, adopting a predominately black look along with the red stripes of the shirt. Finishing off the look are white socks with the Red Devil prominently displayed front and center.

Look for United to debut the new away kits in the Premier League’s first-ever Friday night fixture August 14 as the squad heads to Villa Park to take on Aston Villa. The kit will also be available that same day at adidas.com, United’s own retail stores and specialty stores worldwide.
