Zaytoven Explores Trap Music's Origins for 'The Note'
A new documentary about the iconic producer.
As one of modern rap’s most influential producers and veterans, Zaytoven certainly has a lot of history and game to share. Now, linking up with Red Bull Music, Zaytoven is sharing his story in a new documentary series known as The Note.
A Red Bull Music original production, The Note seeks to explore the personal stories behind some of today’s most creative trendsetters. For Zaytoven’s entry, the important origins of trap and modern street music are explored.
“This has been a journey of character for me,” reads an official press statement from Zaytoven. “My character is what has landed me to where I am today in my musical career. Without good character, I would not have been able to create history in the musical landscape.”
You can check out the Zaytoven episode of Red Bull’s The Note Above. Zaytoven’s debut album, Trap Holizay, is expected to drop in May.
