Animated 'Fast & Furious' Coming to Netflix
The Toretto family gets a spinoff series.

Dom Toretto has been spewing family rhetoric for the better part of a decade now, and finally, we’ll get to see some blood relatives debut, but in the form of a new Fast & Furious spinoff series. The new animated series from DreamWorks and Netflix features Tony Toretto, Dom’s teenaged cousin, as he follows in his footsteps and enlists his friends to become racers/undercover government agents on a racing league infiltration mission.
Voltron: Legendary Degender writer Tim Hedrick and All Hail King Julien producer Bret Haaland will serve as showrunners, alongside Vin Diesel and Chris Morgan from the Fast films to executive-produce. This is another series — alongside Guillermo del Toro‘s Trollhunters — to come from Netflix’s partnership with DreamWorks, with four more slated to join the lineup this year.
In related news, the sequel to Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters has a new trailer.
