Nike Air Maestro II "Trifecta" Pays Tribute to Scottie Pippen
A bold red and black option for spring.

At the beginning of this month, Nike held the “Art of a Champion” exhibit. The event went down ahead of this year’s “NBA Playoff race,” and featured Cari Champion, Ray Allen, Rasheed Wallace and Julius Erving. During the exhibition, Nike also showcased the Air Maestro II “Trifecta.” Now, a new look at the Air Maestro II “Trifecta” has surfaced.
An integral part of the “Art of a Champion” colllection, the Air Maestro II “Trifecta” pays tribute to Scottie Pippen’s domination of Game 2 of the 1993 NBA Finals — hence the “Trifecta” name. Specifically, the shoe boasts a powerful red and black blend as its colorway. Rounding out the presentation: a gold Larry O’Brien Trophy hang-tag.
You can take a look at the new Nike Air Maestro II “Trifecta” in the shots above and the Instagram posts below. The shoe will hit retailers on May 10, and official imagery will arrive very soon.
