Nike recently unveiled the Air Force 1 High “Rude Awakening” as part of its Nike Basketball “Art of A Champion” Collection. Paying homage to Rasheed Wallace‘s dominating streak over the Los Angeles Lakers during Game 4 of the 2004 NBA Finals — where Wallace took an elbow to the chest — the silhouette is aptly named “Rude Awakening” due the fact Wallace was able to turn his anger into passion, leading Detroit to take control of the series.

The high-top silhouette sees a predominately white upper accented with “Blue Jay” Swoosh decals and midsoles. Adjustable ankle straps in white features a “BALL DON’T LIE” text while the “Blue Jay” straps feature Sheed’s number “30.” Rasheed Wallace’s logo on the side of the ankle, “2004” branded lace dubraes, and the custom branded insoles finish off this special pair. A “16” logo, representing the 16 games it takes to take home the Larry O’Brien Trophy, can also be found on the inner tongue.

The Nike Air Force 1 High Sheed “Rude Awakening” will be releasing on April 26 for the retail price of $130 USD.

In case you’ve missed it, here’s what went down at Nike’s “Art of a Champion” exhibit.
