Kobe Bryant Names His 2018 NBA MVP Pick
Who takes your pick?

On Tuesday during ESPN’s “Get Up” segment, basketball G.O.A.T. and two-time NBA Finals MVP Kobe Bryant weighed in on the 2018 MVP debate between James Harden and LeBron James before picking the Rockets star to take the honor.
The Rockets guard is the overwhelming favorite to win the award with Basketball-Reference pegging him at a 68.1 odds of claiming the title. Harden finished second in voting behind Russell Westbrook last year. This season, he led the league with 30.4 points per game and ranked third with 8.8 assists per contest.
On the other hand, pro-LeBron James camp claims he deserves the award for being the best player in the league. James is looking to tie Michael Jordan by earning his fifth NBA MVP after playing all 82 games with the Cavaliers this season for the first time.
However, Mamba thinks Harden deserves the prestigious honor. Kobe stated:
“I think James has done so much, all season long. And for the last two years he’s been playing phenomenally well. Had it not been for Westbrook’s historical run last year, he certainly would have won MVP last year.
I think what James has done from Game 1 all the way through Game 82 deserves to be rewarded. I mean, this guy’s worked his butt off for the entire season and has gotten his team to the place they are now. I just don’t know what there is left for him to do to be MVP.”
Who do you think deserves the big honor? The league will reveal all of this season’s biggest winners at 2018 NBA Awards scheduled for June 25. In other NBA-related news, these are the highest selling NBA player jerseys of the 2017/18 season.
