Nike's Air VaporMax 97 Gets the Classic "Silver Bullet" Treatment
An OG look comes to the AM97 x Vapormax hybrid.
Black/Reflect and “Japan” makeups aren’t all Nike’s Air VaporMax 97 hybrid will see this month. Joining the aforementioned looks for March 2018 is a classic “Silver Bullet” edition of the silhouette.
A throwback to the AM97’s OG release over two decades ago, the upcoming “Silver Bullet” drop offers up a familiar aesthetic Air Max fans know and love. True to the original, the design utilizes a predominately silver upper of mesh and leather as a combination of black, white and red accents offer some contrasts. Here, however, the shoe’s prototypical full-length Max Air unit has been replaced with the Swoosh’s contemporary VaporMax sole to offer some modern day cushioning tech.
The “Silver Bullet” Air VaporMax 97 is slated to arrive at Nike Sportswear retailers — including Kix-Files — sometime this month alongside its Black/Reflect counterpart.
As for the aforementioned “Japan” release, fans can expect those to touch down this upcoming Friday, March 9.
