It appears a new album from The Weeknd may be coming this year, and Travis Scott has already gotten a chance to listen to it. The rapper took to Twitter Friday night to share his appreciation for fellow artist, saying the “new album is [scary.] It’s like when I first heard him for the first time.” Perhaps this means we can expect Abel to go back to his Trilogy sound, something which left a lasting imprint on fans since it first debuted in 2012.

Speculations of a new project are strong, as it’s been two years since the release of his last studio album Starboyand he’ll be performing at Coachella in months to come; a likely opportunity to share new music. Here’s to hoping it’s as good as Scott says it is.
