Shortly after leaked images of the Air VaporMax 97 “Japan” surfaced last month, Nike now officially introduces its new hybrid model for the spring season.

This mashup silhouette combines the famous Air Max 97 upper with the Air VaporMax‘s signature bubble sole unit. It’s debut “Japan” colorway sports a black and silver wavy upper, neon yellow translucent sole and reflective 3M detailing reminiscent of the OG Air Max 97 colorway initially released as a Japan exclusive.

The Nike Air VaporMax 97 “Japan” will launch on March 9 at 10 a.m. EST for $190 USD on Nike’s SNKRS app. Let us know if you’ll be picking these up and for more similar models, the Nike VaporMax Flyknit 2.0 is receiving three new colors.
