Netflix's 'Amateur' Spotlights the Rise and Struggles of a Basketball Phenom

Continuing with its flood of original content, Netflix has just release the trailer for its next project, Amateur. The film will focus on the rise and struggles of 14-year-old basketball phenom, Terron (portrayed by Michael Rainey Jr.), chronicling the intense training and ordeals he needs to overcome as he aspires for greatness. Taken under the wing of Coach Gaines (Josh Charles), Terron soon comes to realize there’s more to the glitz and glam of the sport, learning about the corruption that comes with the game.
