Larry June Drops 'You’re Doing Good' EP
Jazz Cartier, Ye Ali, Tyus and Chuck Inglish make appearances on the project.

San Francisco-bred rapper Larry June drops his latest project, You’re Doing Good. The 10-track EP features production from Dvme and Sledgren (his longtime collaborators), Fki 1st, Bizness Boi, Wheezy, Chuck Inglish and J.Lbs. You’re Doing Good features guest appearances by Jazz Cartier, Ye Ali, Tyus and Chuck Inglish. Known for his signature ad-lib style, Larry June spoke to HYPEBEAST about his unqiue approach to his style.
“I listen to a lot of old-school music, and when you listen to the old-school music from back in the days, you’ll hear the ‘sock it to me! Yeah baby!’ That was the turn-up back in the days,” he said. “When that ‘sock it to me!’ came on, that was when it was time to turn up so I just wanted to bring that to my turn up. When you heard Michael Jackson go ‘yeee-hee!’ it was a little something that made people prepare for what was going to happen on that track.”
Following his signing to Warner Bros. Records in 2016, June has been busy, dropping Orange Season in 2016 and subsequent releases Larry and Larry 2 in 2017.
