As the much-hyped Virgil Abloh x Air Jordan 1 “White” launch draws nearer, UK sneaker retailer OFFSPRING has taken a novel approach to tackling sneaker resellers, as revealed on the shop’s Instagram account.
One of several retailers offering the Europe-only drop, OFFSPRING has been inundating with raffle entrants seeking a pair of the anticipated shoes for themselves. To level the playing ground, the store is actively revoking raffle winners’ opportunities to buy the collaborative Air Jordan 1 if they mention plans to flip their pair for profit. According to the store, this is because “OFFSPRING are very serious about getting products to the community who want to build or add to their collection, not profit from this raffle.” Read the full statement below.
