Last month we previewed the first trailer for Cobra Kai based on the original Karate Kid. 30 years later, the rivalry continues between Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence, but as teachers. In the second trailer, we see Johnny, previously the antagonist in Karate Kid, reopen his old dojo and take on his own protégé — thus parroting the Miyagi/Daniel relationship. The latest video gives a better taste of what’s to come for the ten-episode YouTube Red series.
