Timberland Brings Back the World Hiker
Complete with a Vibram sole.
Last seen as the subject of a long-gone J.Crew collaboration, the old Timberland World Hiker is making a comeback — this time in OG form.
A rugged retro-style hiking boot in the same vein as that of the Euro Hiker, the World Hiker appears here with its original construction, ditching the leather-clad look of the aforementioned J.Crew collaboration in favor of a familiar “Gopher”-colored nubuck upper. This time around, the leather paneling is utilized on the likes of the lining and tongue branding badge while details include everything from a gusseted tongue and padded, perforated collar to metal D-ring eyelets, flat cotton laces, and debossed branding. Finally, true to the original, a rugged Vibram outsole caps things off in black.
Fans of Timbs can find the World Hiker OG “Gopher” now at stockists like KITH for $240 USD while supplies last.
