Nike Gifts colette a Special Pair of Air Jordan 1s
The Swoosh bids “Au Revoir” to the iconic Parisian boutique.
colette bid adieu to the retail world last December, but the former Parisian boutique is still making noise amongst industry heads, especially in the sneaker realm.
Following the return of the colette x Karhu Fusion 2.0 is a unique pair of Air Jordan 1s gifted to Sarah Andelman‘s iconic concept shop by Nike. The classic shoe is adorned with colette’s signature blue hue alongside white detailing on the side portions, ankle collars and midsoles. Most notable details include “1997” white embroidery on the left pair, “2017” on the right, and the shop’s logo on the heel caps. The dates represent the years in which the store was founded and closed, respectively. As a finishing touch, the industry’s echoing “Au Revoir” sentiment for colette is boldly embellished on the shoe’s transparent outsoles.
