Bell & Ross Releases the BR-X1 Chronograph Tourbillon Sapphire Watch
Each watch is made from five blocks of sapphire.
Baselworld launches today and Bell & Ross are celebrating the occasion by launching a new version of the BR-X1. The Chronograph Tourbillon Sapphire watch is made from 5 blocks of sapphire, which are then chiselled into a set of transparent watches. The effect of the sapphire helps create a skeletonized effect, allowing the user to see through the watch entirely.
There’s three exclusive pieces in total, one coming in black, one in pink gold and the third using a blue colorway. Carlos Rosillo, CEO of Bell & Ross said the following, “We have started a very successful partnership with Mr Porter for a year now and we are especially proud of this new project. Always ahead of its time. Bell & Ross marks a turning point by breaking – once again – the traditional watchmaking codes and shows that high-end luxury and digital can combine perfectly”
Two of the watches will be cost £355,000 (approx. $499,484 USD) available online exclusively at Bell & Ross’s web store, while the blue colorway is available from Mr Porter.
