The Barneys Sole Series Continues With Two More Classic adidas Silhouettes
Stripping back the Rod Laver and Stan Smith.
After taking on the Samba silhouette last year, Barneys has continued its Sole series with another adidas Originals capsule. The new release sees the New York store take on the Stan Smith and Rod Laver silhouettes, with both of the sneakers getting a luxe update.
The two silhouettes come in an off-white colorway, which covers the midsoles and the premium suede uppers. The only touches of color come with contrasting leather linings that reference elements of each silhouette’s original release: “Kelly Green” for the Rod Laver and navy blue for the Stan Smith. Other features of the two sneakers include debossed adidas branding on the heel tabs and Barneys New York logo on the tongue. Both pairs are available now from the Barneys web store, with a retail price set at $150 USD.
As well as working with adidas, Barneys is set to release Filling Pieces’ first ever ready-to-wear collection.
