adidas Originals & Oyster Holdings Team up for Perfect Travel Wardrobe
Upgraded classics in a Spring-ready color palette.
adidas Originals has revealed its latest collaboration, teaming up with LA-based label Oyster Holdings for a collection of apparel and footwear. The capsule is designed to be the “ultimate travel wardrobe,” with classic adidas pieces subtly reworked to make travel more comfortable.
In terms of apparel, key pieces include the track top, full zip hoodie and crewneck sweatshirt, which have been remade in a premium French terry cloth material. These pieces are complimented with matching sweatpants, as well as a new take on an XBYO T-shirt.
The footwear element of the capsule sees Oyster Holdings rework a number of retro silhouettes — including the Handball Top and adidas 350 — in a Spring-ready pastel color palette. The Handball Top comes in a premium suede construction and is available in either ”Ash Blue/Chalk Coral” or ”Easy Yellow/Ash Blue.” Meanwhile the adidas 350 features a nubuck leather upper with textile 3-stripe branding, and is available in “Trace Scarlet” or “Ash Pearl” colorways, both of which feature a contrast chalk rubber outsole. adidas Originals also recently announced a release date for its NMD_CS1 collaboration with Parley.
