Parley x adidas Originals NMD City Sock Release Date
Featuring Parley Ocean Plastic™ yarn construction.
We gave you a first look at the upcoming Parley for the Oceans x adidas Originals NMD City Sock back in mid-January and now adidas has officially unveiled the sneaker.
The collaborative NMD_CS1 not only has a colorway that echoes the oceans with its blue overlay and black base, but also features Primeknit that has been constructed using Parley Ocean Plastic™ yarn — “plastic waste that is intercepted from beaches and coastal communities before it reached the ocean,” the press release explains. Finishing touches on the silhouette includes white BOOST tooling and EVA insert plugs as well as a white heel pull tab.
Expect the Parley x adidas Originals NMD_CS1 to release on March 30 at adidas.com and on March 31 at global retailers for $220 USD. Most recently, the Three Stripes dropped a “Linen” version of its NMD_CS2.
