Filling Pieces Reveals Architecture-Inspired Debut Ready-To-Wear Collection
In collaboration with Barneys and starring Majid Jordan.
Having teased its debut ready-to-wear collection earlier this year, Amsterdam-based sneaker-centric label Filling Pieces has now given a full look at the capsule. The first apparel collection sees the brand collaborate with New York store Barneys on a capsule of functional pieces including track pants, trousers and jackets in a range of technical fabrics along with jersey sweaters, hoodies and tees.
For this collection, Filling Pieces founder and creative director Guillaume Philibert took inspiration from his training as an architect and especially the idea of “form follows function” from Frank Lloyd Wright. To launch the collection, Philibert tapped Majid Jordan to star in the lookbook, which was shot by photographer Steven Taylor at Hubble Studio. The range is set to drop at Barneys locations in New York and LA, as well as the Filling Pieces web store.
