A Closer Look at the SpongeBob SquarePants x Vans Collection
“Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?”
After teasing the entire collaborative range yesterday, we bring you a closer look at two of the collaborative SpongeBob SquarePants x Vans sneakers.
The Sk8-Hi LX and Slip-On LX are emblazoned with an array of playful Patrick Star graphics, highlighting SpongeBob’s pal as he shows off his Vans deck and gets some air. Off-white canvas uppers complement tonal suede and laces, with the Sk8-Hi’s familiar Jazz Stripe cutting through the colorful cartoon imagery. Updated detailing includes a pirate SpongeBob face on the tongue tag and a splattered Plankton on the waffle outsole, while SpongeBob yellow informs the Slip-On’s sidewall Vans tag.
