LVMH prize nominee ALYX returns with an expansive range of goods for Spring/Summer 2018. After recently teasing its latest Mackintosh collaboration, the American label offers a closer look at more goods that blend British style with the label’s technical inclinations.

Key to the collection is an assortment of straps and buckled closures, which accent shirts, beef up bags, and help secure pants. The detailing aids in further subverting the European-influenced clothing, which ranges from militaristic overshirts, crisp shorts cut above the knee and frayed fisherman sweaters. Technical cargo pants are complemented by the label’s signature chest rig, keeping in line with the technical themes that inform the collection’s mesh military vest and harness-bearing blazer. Artisinal detailing like garment-dyed fabrics and hand-painted graphics also influence the collaborative items, which include Mackintosh coats treated with experimental dyes and George Cox boots elevated by white fur and silver studs, showcasing ALYX’s progressive updates of classic British designs.

Shop the range as it hits stockists like HBX this year. Elsewhere, emerging designer Kiko Kostadinov recently unveiled the latest iteration of his continuing Mackintosh range, dubbed 003.
