Sade Is Releasing Her First Song In 7 Years
The song is off the ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ soundtrack.
Sade is releasing her first song in seven years. Her last original material was Soldier of Love, which released in 2010. The new song is titled “Flower Of The Universe” and will appear on the A Wrinkle In Time soundtrack.
Director Ava DuVernay revealed the news through Twitter today writing, “I never thought she’d say yes, but asked anyway. She was kind + giving. A goddess. We began a journey together that I’ll never forget. Proud to announce that Sade has created an original song for WRINKLE IN TIME. It’s entitled ‘Flower of the Universe.’ And it’s a dream come true.”
The soundtrack will also feature music from Demi Lovato, Sia, Chloe x Halle and Kehlani. A Wrinkle in Time stars Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling and more. Both the soundtrack and the movie is set to release on March 9.
