size? Puts a Hokusai-Inspired Spin on the ASICS GEL-Lyte OG
An homage to the famed ukiyo-e artist.
This past October, the UK’s size? joined forces with ASICS to introduce a GEL-Lyte OG inspired by Japanese baseball. Now, just a few short months later, the two are back at it, linking up for yet another Japan-inspired GEL-Lyte OG — this one a nod to Hokusai.
Dubbed the “36 Views,” the collaborative retro runner takes cues from the famed Edo period ukiyo-e artist, specifically taking on a color palette inspired by that of the iconic Great Wave. Water-resistant suede and ripstop paneling combines in shades of deep blue while pastel pink accents pay homage to Japan’s seasonal cherry blossoms.
Capped off with a speckled GEL-cushioned midsole, the “36 Views” is limited to just 500 pairs and will be available from size? starting February 24.
