kolor & adidas Drop Another Clean AlphaBOUNCE
A stark contrast to the collab’s more colorful offerings.
While this season’s previous collaborative AlphaBOUNCE and adiZero Prime BOOST drops from kolor and adidas skewed toward the more colorful side of the spectrum, designer Junichi Abe’s latest Three Stripes release goes in a decidedly different direction. Once again calling upon the AlphaBOUNCE as a canvas, the latest seasonal drop ditches the neon red, turquoise, royal blue, and orange hues that graced the other versions of the kolor-tweaked design and opts instead for a minimalist palette of white and grey. In this case the darkest grey adorns the unique raw-edged mesh overlay that stretches from the toe to the midfoot while off-white takes care of the BOUNCE-cushioned midsole and the majority of the upper’s mesh and neoprene paneling. Capping off the look is a light grey mesh bootie to go along with understated co-branding on the tongue.
Retailing for $144 USD, kolor’s latest adidas AlphaBOUNCE can be picked up now from HAVEN.
