A Closer Look at the Raf Simons x Fred Perry Spring/Summer 2018 Collection
Exploring the DIY nature of punk style.
Earlier this month we were given a first look at Raf Simons‘ latest Fred Perry capsule. Continuing his longstanding relationship with Fred Perry, Simons injects the same youthful influence found in past collaborations into this capsule. The range also hinges heavily on DIY and punk stylings, using asymmetrical duct tape detailing across various pieces. Elsewhere, the detailing is then layered with Fred Perry’s classic Laurel Wreath embroidery. To unveil the collection, Fred Perry continued to work with film director Sharna Osborne to create a visual lookbook.
