Today, Friday, February 16, adidas will launch its expansive NBA All-Star Weekend festivities when the brand’s 747 Warehouse St. event opens its doors. Now, with the show’s beginning imminent, we’re presenting an exclusive inside look at the setup.
In the gallery above, viewers are treated to photographs of the stage for the musical performances, basketball courts set to play host to a multitude of high-profile artists, retail setup, event activations, and more. Once inside the former American Apparel compound, attendees can rebuild adidas Hoops silhouettes with the Brooklyn Creative Farm, record music in the first mobile Sound Lab, capture 360-degree dunk footage of themselves, and explore a massive warehouse with installations for everything from Parley, to a free throw-shooting robot.
For those attending tonight’s celebration you can expect to witness appearances from Alexander Wang, N.E.R.D, Snoop Dogg, 2 Chainz, Pusha T, Kaytranada and Stormzy. There will be limited product releases exclusive to the event, many celebrity guests and a showdown between Snoop Dogg’s West Coast basketball team and 2 Chainz’s East Coast cadre.
Besides the aforementioned individuals and acts, Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, French Montana, Mike WiLL Made-It, and others will also be at the event for performances and more.
