The newest trailer for Pacific Rim: Uprising features, as expected, giant robots and monsters duking it out in IMAX. Prior trailers have revealed the film takes place 10 years after the original Pacific Rim with the re-emergence of the giant monsters known as Kaiju.

The movie will follow John Boyega, the son of Stacker Pentecost (played by Idris Elba in Pacific Rim), as he gathers new pilots to face the return of the interdimensional beings. New footage in the trailer above reveals more shots between Jaegers and Kaiju fighting in the city, robots flying through skyscrapers, and more fights between the fated enemies in the artic. Check out the visuals above and share your thoughts below, Pacific Rim: Uprising opens on March 23.
