Nike Emblazons Air More Money With "Chinese Yuan"
Just in time for Chinese New Year.

Following up on a burgundy iteration and two LA-inspired All-Star Weekend models, Nike readies another Air More Money drop. This timely release comes just in time for Chinese New Year.
The sneaker’s dark color scheme grants extra emphasis to the gold and red accents, the traditional colors of Chinese New Year. Seen on the black suede upper is a red Swoosh accompanied by gold Chinese characters, while the heel unit boasts the lucky numbers 590 and 888. Below, detailed embroidery showcases an old Chinese coin that used to represent a single yuan; here it represents the popular aspiration for a prosperous New Year. Elsewhere, the sneaker’s usual details are in place, including its removable shroud, pull tab on the heel, and visible Air Unit on the midsole.
No official release date has surfaced for the sneaker but with Chinese New Year right around the corner, expect the shoe to drop sooner rather than later. Most recently, the Air More Money appeared as part of the customizable “90/10” pack.
