Matt McGhee Gets Soulful in "Sweat" Video Performance
For the ‘COLORS’ performance studio.
In April of last year, DMV artist Matt McGhee donned some vintage Tommy Hilfiger and hit his hometown for a nighttime stroll to deliver the lo-fi visuals for Under New Management cut “Moving.” Going down a different path for the next stage of his career, McGhee adopts a decidedly-different approach for his latest effort.
Linking up with performance studio COLORS, Matt McGhee serves up a potential hit with the bass-heavy, funk-infused “Sweat.” Going down the solo route for his COLORS showcase, the Maryland native allows his emotive, inherently-soulful flows to lead the way. Most notably, the striking minimal backdrop provided by COLORS lets the music take center stage.
You can check out Matt McGhee’s “Sweat” performance for COLORS above, and expect much more from the fast-rising jack-of-all-trades as he plots his London move.
