Canon Reveals New Cameras Aimed at Vloggers and Social Media
Including the brand’s first 4K model.
Japanese camera manufacturer Canon has unveiled a series of new additions to its selection, including the EOS M50 — its first ever 4k mirrorless camera. The M50 is an entry-level model in Canon’s M series, and comes with a range of features which are described as being “ideal for vloggers” including OLED optical viewfinder, the brand’s Dual-Pixel phase detection and a flippable touchscreen.
As well as the M50, Canon has revealed the Rebel T7 DSLR, another entry-level model which is targeted at social media users. The camera comes with a 24.1-megapixel sensor, as well as a “Scene Intelligent” function and a range of presets making it easy to take pictures. These images can than be shared instantly using the inbuilt WiFi function. Take a look at the two cameras above, with both set to drop in April. The EOS M50 will be priced at $780 USD for the body, while the Rebel T7 is set to retail for $550 USD.
